Description
Detects the most minute concentrations of combustible hydrocarbons present at suspected arson and fire scenes. This lightweight and fully portable instrument will locate quickly the source(s) of hydrocarbon emissions with pinpoint accuracy. Simple and easy-to-use, this unit is also a very effective tool for checking for gasoline storage tanks. The No. CGD100 comes in handy for many unforeseeable and unexpected situations and no investigative department is fully equipped without one. A highly visible, 10-segment bar graph instantly displays comparative vapor concentrations. The hydrocarbon-sensing head is located at the end of a 12 (30.5cm) gooseneck-style extension arm, allowing the No. CGD100 to be used in crevices and other hard-to-reach locations. This extension arm quickly folds into the case for efficient storage and transport. Comes with rechargeable nickel cadmium batteries, battery charger and belt holster.
