Description
The depth of wood charring is one indicator of burn time, fire intensity and whether accelerants were used in isolated areas of exceptionally deep charring. The gauge permits rapid, accurate measurement throughout the fire scene and often eliminates having to cut out timbers unnecessarily. Calibrated in 1/32 increments and measures up to 1 .
