COMPARAPRINT TECH (CCPARA7000L)

Description

While many law enforcement agencies have direct access to AFIS, those that don ™t have to rely on larger agencies with an AFIS terminal. If this access isn ™t close by, you may have to drive half way across the state to have identifications performed. Then again, the magnifier and eyestrain method is still the sole means of latent comparison for other agencies today. COMPARAPRINT TECH+ and TECH+Db programs were designed to meet those specific needs of law enforcement agencies that handle their latent print identifications internally.

This Automated Latent Identification System (ALIS®) can be of great convenience. With AFIS reporting considerable backlogs and limiting the kinds of evidence that can be submitted, many latent identifications can take weeks or even months to be processed.

A Complete Identification System ¦ COMPARAPRINT Software handles real world latents ”both fingerprints and palmprints with no restrictions such as AFIS Quality Prints only! COMPARAPRINT Programs offer the ability to automatically extract minutiae as well as manually add minutiae missed during extraction. You can even remove false minutiae when needed. The AFIS-grade comparison engine compares prints regardless of orientation. This 360O comparison capability permits identification of prints that may have been inadvertently scanned-in upside down. This is extremely beneficial when you are working with partial palmprints!
