Our latest fluorescent latent print kit includes the new UVT100/200 UV Torchlight featuring cutting edge Light Emitting Diode Vector Focal Technology. This uniquely engineered device magnifies and focuses seven LEDs into one intense spot. The Torchlight features a rechargeable NiMH 1800mAh battery that has no memory effect, so the unit may be recharged at any time regardless of the amount of use. A full 5-hour charge provides up to 6-hours of use. The UV Torchlight produces rich amounts of UV energy at a frequency of 405nm with only limited visible light. This is an ideal waveband for locating items of forensic interest. Use of barrier filters/ goggles is not necessary. The kit contains regular and magnetic fluorescent powders, brushes, a magnetic wand and hinge lifters. This assortment permits latent print development on confusing or multi-colored backgrounds.
